My t-shirt design

This is my t-shirt design which represents me. On the front I have symbols of Aotearoa NZ - a place I love. These are a white cloud within which are mountains, sky and sea. I am very grateful to my parents for choosing to live here before I was born. On the back of my shirt is my cute, playful dog called Pipi. What I love about her is that every morning when she wakes up and every time I come home, Pipi greets me like a long-lost friend. She is so excited to see me it just makes me so happy to have her in my family.

My Cybersmart giphy

via GIPHY Today in Cybersmart, I uploaded one of my freeze frames of showing cybersmart values into Giphy.com. Then I chose a number of animations to bring my photo alive. I had lots of different animations to choose from and I like my finished DLO because it makes my photo stand out better than before.

Cybersmart Voki

Today in Cybersmart, I created my own voki which explains to my blog readers how I am cybersmart. If you like my voki, please give me feedback.

I created this voki to explain how I am cybersmart. I liked using this app because I was able to choose my character, background and what I wanted the character to say. This time I used a Google drawing and call outs to show how the PCS school values also apply to being Cybersmart, which is all about making good choices and behaving in the right way when I am online.

I created this 'freezeframe' of PCS school values that relate to being cybersmart. I used a new app which can be found at canvas.apps.chrome and put these images onto a Google drawing. This map shows the number of weeks summer holidays that primary school students get across the globe.
This interactive world map was created by putting the data into a spreadsheet and then inserting a chart. To access the data for the spreadsheet I had to read a few articles that explained the length of summer school holidays throughout the world.

Today in cybersmart, I learnt how to create a bar chart from data in a spreadsheet. First, we collected information about which fruit each student likes the most. Then, we entered the data into a spreadsheet and made a chart. Finally, I wrote the titles and changed the colours.

This week in cybersmart, we learnt how to use Google sheets to make a bar chart. We used the favourite colours of Room 10 students. We also customised our charts.

Ask an adult when things go wrong

Today in cybersmart, I learnt that if things go wrong online I should ask a trusted adult to sort it out for me. In my cartoon, I told my teacher. I hope you can follow my advice and be cybersmart like me.
